We will examine why individuals within the religious establishment have lost the ability to think for themselves.

ABOUT US

Bill and Carol are both involved in free-lance writing.
For many years, Bill has felt a desire to strengthen marriages.  He writes a regular column for the Boise Examiner, an online news outlet.  Bill's marriage articles are written in a manner that will encourage and strengthen believers and unbelievers alike.
Carol writes a regular column about her favorite pastime, paper crafting.  Her articles are short and informative and help the reader to further develop their skills as they pertain to card making, scrapbooking, etc.
Because of strongly held conviction about receiving ministry income, the Sperry's are involved in various enterprises that are designed to help keep them on the road.  You can help by subscribing to their columns online.  You can also see their ministry financial policy here.

Check out the website for free MP3 files of Bill's TV program, The Living Room.  The Living Room airs each Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM on KCLP TV-18 in Boise,ID.
The Living Room also airs on KMLS Kosher Radio 101.9 in Carlsbad, NM.  Satellite radio listeners can tune in On Thursday Afternoons at 4:00 MST:

Caution Tools

Welcome to House To Life Ministries launching of the Builder's Journal.

The Builder's Journal will be an ongoing way for us to communicate with those of you who have expressed a desire to keep up with what is happening in the lives and ministry of the Sperrys.

The purpose of the Builder's Journal is to place at your disposal, tools to help you build the relationships that are critical to your success as a believer in Jesus Christ.  These relationships include, but are not limited to YHVH, your spouse, your children, your extended family, your co-workers, etc.

Each edition of The Builder's Journal will focus on a key element of spiritual growth that you can use as building materials in your own walk with the Messiah.  Some issues will be foundational in nature and some may focus on the "furniture" in your spiritual house.  No matter the issue being dealt with, every effort will be made to point out and align to the truth of Scripture.

Personally, I am happy to be labeled the "expert," as long as the reader will agree to my own etymological definition of the word, The Builder's Journal's crack research team found this definition among definitions that were uncovered in the sheep corrals outside of Qumran, Israel.  It is purely coincidental that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered there.

Breaking the word into its two distinct parts we uncover the true definition: the first: "ex: is a "has been", and a "spurt" is a "drip under pressure".  I'm sure you will agree that I qualify!

The Builder's Journal will provide you with links to sites and articles that are of interest to believers looking for truth.  Please understand that just because we link to a site or an article does not mean that we endorse, or even agree with, that particular viewpoint or ministry.  The Builder's Journal is not intended to do your thinking for you.  I refuse to be your brain!  Most days I have trouble using the one that is attached to my own shoulders, and so for me to do your thinking for you would be tantamount to using my Idaho driver's license to prove my qualifications to pilot the space shuttle!

Every edition of The Builder's Journal will provide you with an email link that you can use to give us feedback.  We want to know your thoughts and opinions.  If, however, you choose to be an "expert" we will be forced to use the same unabridged Sheep Corral Dictionary mentioned above.

House To Life Ministries will carefully guard the trust you put in us when you provide personal information including your email address.  Information will never be sold (exceptions may be made if the offer is in excess of $1 million) or traded in any fashion.

The Builder's Journal is produced for your edification and enjoyment.  If at any time you feel like you have had all you can stomach of House To Life Ministries, please let us know and Guido will gladly remove you, er, your name and email address from our list.

Watch for splinters in rough lumber,

Bill

We have been traveling since the end of September.  When we left home our primary destination was to attend the Feast of Tabernacles in Grand Prairie, Texas.  We celebrated with Don and Pam Harris of Think Red ink Ministries.  It is a site well worth your visit.  There were people from many parts of the country in attendance and we all enjoyed meeting one another and worshiping together.
From there we having been slowing moving east where we will be attending the Raising Up Elishas conference in Carrollton, Georgia. We are excited to see old friends and to meet new ones.
In our spare time, we have been able to take in a few sites along the way.  We traveled along the Gulf of Mexico, what a beautiful drive it was!  While staying in Abbeville, LA., Bill decided we needed to check out a swamp, so a tour was Swamp Beautyscheduled.  With a local guide who grew up
on the bayou, we were awed and a little intimidated by the what we saw.  We took many pictures of the alligators, turtles, birds and beautiful plants of the area.      Large Alligator
We also stopped at Avery Island, where we toured the factory that produces Bill's beloved Tabasco sauce!  It was quite interesting and we even sampled some Tabasco Ice Cream.  Later that week we traveled to Pensacola, FL to visit a niece and nephew and their new little one, Audrey Jane.  She is indeed quite a package!
A stop in Mobile, AL brought us to the USS Alabama Battleship.  This was also fascinating, we spent two hours
wandering through the ship, getting a feel of what it might have been like for the 2500 Navy personnel that spent time on her during WWII.
Around the 15th of the month we plan to starting heading towards home in Idaho where we will join family for the Thanksgiving holiday.
